Stephen Curry, more commonly known as Steph Curry, is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Warriors drafted him as the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA draft.

His nickname, “The Mamba”, was given to him by his high school coach who noticed Curry’s quick hands and shooting ability. Curry has been a part of several championship teams, most notably Team USA which he led to victory in the 2008 Olympic Games.

Curry has won two MVP Awards, three scoring titles, and two Kia MVP Awards. In 2016, he became only the fourth player in NBA history to score over 3000 points in a season.

Curry first joined the NFT community in August of 2021 after paying $206,000 for a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT.
